Doing life “right” doesn't always lead you to purpose or happiness.
The choices you made for the right reasons are adding up to a life you don’t recognize. And when you look around, at your friends, your family, people who seem to have found their place, it leaves you wondering why it hasn’t been the same for you.
At Voluntas Psychotherapy in Coeur d'Alene, ID, we help you trace your own thread back to a sense of bigger purpose that's truly yours.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does billing and payment work?
For patients using insurance, you’ll pay your out-of-pocket or co-pay expense at the time of your visit. We can also arrange end-of-month billing if that works better for you. For non-insurance patients, we’ll go over our fee structure together during your first conversation.
What insurance do you accept?
Voluntas Psychotherapy in Coeur d’Alene currently processes insurance claims for Blue Cross of Idaho, Regence, Pacific Source, Medicaid, Medicare, and Magellan Healthcare.
What's your cancellation policy?
We strive to provide exceptional care while respecting the time of both our clients and our therapists. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us 48 hours notice. You can contact your therapist directly or call our Coeur d’Alene office. Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to the full session fee. We know life can throw curveballs, and we’re happy to review individual cases where the fee might be waived.
What if I need a referral or additional support?
Our Coeur d’Alene practice works closely with a wide array of trusted local professionals. When an additional resource is needed, we’ll work with you to coordinate care under HIPAA compliance.
How long does therapy take?
Therapy in Northern Idaho is individually tailored to what you need. Some people see real change in 8 to 12 sessions, particularly with situational anxiety or a specific life transition. For trauma, identity work, or the search for a larger purpose, therapy may last a year or more.
